From founder Maurice "Babe" Dalton to the third generation of family leadership — Babe's Plumbing has always been, and remains, a family business built on expertise, integrity, and community.
President
Ryan Dalton
PresidentRyan is the President of Babe's Plumbing & Fire Sprinklers. He has been an integral part of the company since the very beginning, starting his journey by working summers in the warehouse during high school, stocking and counting materials. Over the years, Ryan has worked in nearly every aspect of the business — from installing plumbing, gas, and fire sprinkler systems to overseeing operations and driving strategic growth.
For the past decade, his main focus has been developing and expanding the Fire Sprinkler Division from its infancy into a core part of the company's business model. Ryan's hands-on experience and dedication to excellence have helped build a division known for its quality, reliability, and commitment to safety. He is a Certified Fire Protection Specialist by the National Fire Protection Association and holds NICET Level III in Inspection and Testing of Water-Based Systems, NICET Level II in Water-Based Systems Layout for Fire Protection Engineering Technology, and is a Fire Protection Systems Contractor I through the State of Florida.
Ryan is also a Certified Building Contractor, a Master LP Gas Installer Qualifier, holds a Backflow Prevention Testing and Repair Certification, and is a Master Plumbing Contractor. He serves on the City of Sarasota Board of Rules and Appeals, sharing his knowledge to help uphold safety and quality standards across the industry.
Outside of work, Ryan enjoys spending time with his wife Amanda and their two boys, Graham and Preston — both of whom have shown an interest in continuing the family legacy. Their family also includes Wilma, their loyal bull mastiff. When he isn't working or with family, Ryan enjoys golfing, fishing, and watching Florida State Football.

Joey Dalton
Vice President · Plumbing Contract DivisionAs a third-generation leader at Babe's Plumbing, Inc., Joey Dalton proudly carries forward the family legacy of excellence in the plumbing industry. The eldest sibling in the family business, Joey serves as Vice President of the Plumbing Contract Division, overseeing residential and commercial new construction, remodeling projects, and water and sewer re-pipes. His leadership ensures that Babe's Plumbing consistently delivers high-quality workmanship and exceptional customer service to homeowners, businesses, and contractors across the region.
Joey's expertise is supported by his Master Plumber certification — a credential requiring a minimum of four years of hands-on experience, rigorous testing in business, finance, and technical knowledge, and ongoing annual education to stay current with industry standards and codes. He also holds specialized certification in backflow repair. Joey actively participates in the Southwest Florida Plumbing-Heating-Cooling Contractors (PHCC) association and serves on his Homeowner Board.
Outside of work, Joey is a devoted family man. He and his wife Tracee are raising three sons — Joey, David, and Hudson — and are looking forward to welcoming Tracee's daughter Natalie into the family. He is particularly proud of his eldest son Joey, who is serving in the U.S. Navy. When not working or with family, Joey enjoys golfing and cheering on the Atlanta Braves.
VP · Service
Josh Dalton
Vice President · Service DivisionJosh is the Vice President of the Service Division at Babe's Plumbing, Inc., overseeing a team of 30 plumbers, managers, estimators, customer service representatives, and dispatchers. He focuses on customer service, plumber training, quality control, as well as estimates and proposals. As a State Certified Master Plumber, Josh ensures that every customer receives expert, highly qualified assistance whenever a plumbing issue arises. He is dedicated to getting the job done right the first time, maintaining Babe's Plumbing's strong reputation and high rate of customer referrals. Josh also serves as a Southwest Florida PHCC board member.
Before joining the family business, Josh played baseball at Jacksonville University and remains a loyal fan of the Jaguars, Braves, Lightning, and University of Miami. He also has a background in radio, having spent many years working for local stations in the area. Josh is a volunteer umpire for Little League Baseball. Outside of work, Josh has 3 children and enjoys cruises and trips to the Tennessee and North Carolina mountains.
Sarah Willis
Vice President · Business OperationsAs Vice President of Business Operations, Sarah Willis oversees multiple departments including Accounting, Warehouse, Purchasing, Fleet Services, Marketing, Human Resources, and IT. Her leadership ensures that each area works seamlessly to support the company's continued growth and success.
Before joining Babe's, Sarah worked as a teacher and later took time off to raise her three children, Dalton, Avery, and Simon. When the opportunity arose, she returned to the workforce to become part of the family business, bringing with her a strong background in organization, education, and team collaboration.
Sarah and her husband Jason are proud to be active members of the local community — both graduates of VHS, as were their parents, their ties to the community are generational. Outside of work and community involvement, the Willis family loves spending their summers in Vermont and traveling together whenever they are not at a sporting event.
