Annual Electrical Inspection
A full inspection of your electrical panel, fixtures, smoke detectors, and outlets — performed by a licensed electrician once per year.
10% Off All Electrical Work
Members receive 10% off electrical task or time-and-materials invoices — including emergency, holiday, and weekend service rates.
Priority Scheduling
Members move to the front of the queue. During busy periods you'll generally receive service within one business day.

Residential Base Coverage
The base maintenance agreement covers a typical residential home and includes inspection and testing of the electrical panel, fixtures, smoke detectors, and outlets for:
- One (1) Kitchen & Laundry Room
- One (1) Water Heater
- Up to Three (3) Full Bathrooms
- Up to Three (3) Bedrooms
* Additional rooms, panels, water heaters, or fixtures are available at an additional cost.
Standard Service Hours: Monday–Friday, 7:30am–4:00pm (excluding holidays)
Note: Discounts and inspection under this agreement do not extend to Fire Sprinkler, Fire Alarm, or Plumbing work.
Service Scheduling Priority
During high-volume periods or extreme weather, electrical repairs are scheduled by the following priority levels:
Same Day
- • No power throughout home (or to range, heater, stove, major appliance)
- • Smell of electrical smoke
- • No running water (electrical cause)
Next Business Day
- • Individual fixture or outlet not working
Two Business Days
- • General electrical repairs or replacements not covered above
Terms, Conditions & Exclusions
Key Terms
- Annual inspection scheduled Mon–Fri, 7:30am–4:00pm
- Agreement effective on date of payment receipt
- Non-refundable in whole or in part
- Transferable to a new owner for $79 (up to 30 days before renewal)
- Monthly payment options available (1/12 of annual amount)
- 1.5% monthly finance charge on balances over 30 days
- No services for accounts overdue 30+ days
- Rates may be adjusted to reflect current costs
Exclusions
- Well pumps and motors
- Aluminum wiring
- Damage from frozen pipes
- Motors or electrical wiring for jetted tubs
- Recalled or non-code-compliant products
- Appliances, pool heaters, or A/C units
- Pool heaters and generators (billed at regular rates)
- Fire Sprinkler, Fire Alarm, or Plumbing work

Babe's Plumbing & Electrical will provide a qualified electrician or technician to check your electrical system once per contract year, scheduled Monday through Friday between 7:30am and 4:00pm, except holidays. During high demand times or extreme weather events, maintenance appointments may be rescheduled at any time.
Upon issuing this agreement, Babe's Plumbing & Electrical will inspect and inventory equipment, fixtures, and electrical systems covered under this agreement. Any repairs deemed necessary will be reported to the homeowner and billed at the discounted member rate.
Babe's Plumbing, Inc. reserves the right to reject any service agreement if, upon inspection by our electrician, equipment is found to be in poor operating condition. It is the homeowner's responsibility to schedule the annual maintenance inspection with at least two weeks advance notice.
Under this agreement, the homeowner agrees to operate all covered equipment in accordance with manufacturer's directions, promptly notify Babe's Plumbing & Electrical of any unusual conditions, and only permit Babe's employees to perform work at the covered location. Unauthorized work by others may void this agreement.
This agreement is non-refundable and location-specific. It is transferable to a new owner for $79.00 up to 30 days prior to the renewal date. The agreement is non-transferable within 30 days of renewal. Payment for services is due at time of completion; agreement payment is due on the renewal date.
Babe's Plumbing & Electrical and its agents are not qualified mold, mildew, or fungus inspectors and expressly disclaim any duty to inspect for or report such conditions. These services are not a guarantee against normal wear or malfunction due to misuse or negligence. This is not an insurance policy. Any disputes arising under this agreement will be governed in Sarasota County by the laws of the State of Florida.
